The Prototype Sprint: evidence in three weeks

The Prototype Sprint is a fixed-scope, fixed-price engagement that answers one question with evidence: does AI meaningfully change this workflow? In two to three weeks we map the work, build a working prototype on your real data, put it in front of the people who do the job, and hand you an architecture and a costed plan for production. It starts at $20k, and everything we make is yours even if you stop there.

Duration
2–3 weeks
Price
Fixed, from $20k
Your time
~4 hours a week from the team that owns the workflow
You keep
Prototype, code, eval set, architecture, build plan

Service

What happens in each week?

  1. Week 1 — Map and decide. We sit with the people doing the work, find the friction and the source of truth, and agree on what AI should change, what stays human, and how we’ll measure success. By Friday there’s a first working slice.
  2. Week 2 — Real data, real users. The prototype runs on your data. Your team uses it on real cases; we watch, measure and iterate daily.
  3. Week 3 — Evidence and plan. Results against the baseline, an evaluation set, a production architecture, risks, and a fixed-price proposal for the build.

What do you get at the end?

  • A working prototypeDeployed where your team can use it — not a slide deck or a notebook.
  • Measured resultsTime, quality and cost compared with how the work is done today.
  • An evaluation setReal cases with expected outcomes, so quality can be tracked from here on.
  • A build planArchitecture, integrations, security considerations, timeline and price.

Who is it for?

Teams with a specific workflow that is manual, slow or expensive, and a hunch that AI could help. Innovation groups that need something real in front of stakeholders before the next planning cycle. Founders who need to validate an AI product before committing to a full build.

How can a prototype be ready this fast?

We build AI-natively. Our engineers decompose the work and run parallel coding agents to explore, implement, test and document at the same time, while staying responsible for architecture and every change that ships. That compresses weeks of work into days without cutting the parts that matter: understanding the workflow and measuring the result.

Questions

What happens after the Prototype Sprint?

You decide. Most teams continue into a production build with us, some hand the plan to their own engineers, and some stop because the evidence says the idea isn’t worth building. All three are good outcomes for a three-week investment.

Do you need access to our production data?

We need realistic data, which is usually a representative sample in a sandbox or your own cloud account. When data can’t leave your environment, we work inside it, and can use self-hosted models.

Is the sprint price really fixed?

Yes. We agree the question, scope and deliverables up front and price it as a fixed fee. If we learn in week one that the question should change, we adjust the plan with you, not the invoice.
